Routine Maintenance

Grumps (aka: My Dad) went into the hospital for some maintenance yesterday. Turns out, he didn't need that stinkin' gallbladder anyway. So they took it out. Tossed it over their shoulder and said, let's move on. In all seriousness, poor Dad had been feeling pretty lousy for the few days prior to surgery. Apparently on Tuesday night, he was in excrutiating pain, and an early text to my phone on Wednesday morning confirmed: SURGERY. He went under yesterday around 9am - everything went well. And today he's supposed to be discharged from the hospital. Between this, his heart surgery two years ago and some kidney stone issues earlier in the year, I think he's put in enough time in the Methodist Hospital to last for quite some time now, thank you. Just wanted to let everyone know he's on the mend!

OMG!! Great that he's better....didn't even know he was going under the knife!! Ahh!!

Yes - let's keep him AWAY from the surgeons and docs for a little while!!

I'm sure he'll be aching for some KT time to cheer him up while recovering! :)

Except he can't lift anything over 5 pounds for a couples of weeks...so no lifting Ms.KT for a while. That's gonna be hard for him....
